14A - Halfway Reflection
1.) One skill I've used to keep up with the requirements of this course is Time Management. There are a lot of assignments due each week and it can become overwhelming if you save them all until the last minute to complete. However, getting assignments done early has allowed me more time to work on each assignments and made it much easier to keep up with assignments.
2.)There have been a couple times when I felt like I was too tired or too busy to get my assignments done and almost decided to skip an assignment. I just had to remind myself that if I focused hard enough that I could get the assignment done quickly and would not have to sacrifice my grade in the class. The fact that most of the assignments build on top of each other is another reason I've realized that it's important to keep up with the assignments and deadlines. I definitely feel like I have developed a tenacious attitude in the last two months.
3.) 3 Tips:
1- Manage your time effectively by completing assignments early in the week.
2- Follow through on each assignment from beginning to end.
3-Remind yourself that each assignment helps you build new skills that you can use in the future.

I completely agree with all of the points you made in your reflection. I noticed that your thoughts revolved mostly around the concept of time management, which is very similar to what my thoughts on ENT 3003 were. I admit that I wasn’t prepared for this class, and I had to adjust very quickly. You mentioned that there were times when you felt “too tired or too busy” and that is a feeling I have of this class every week, but somehow I pull through. In your “3 tips” section you make mention of the same strategy that has gotten me through the work load each week, and your last point was very inspiring, when you suggests changing your perspective on how involved the material is. Your post contains information that is both value and true, well done.
ReplyDeleteHey Kristen,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on this exercise. I think your reflections were relevant and well thought out. I really relate to your focus on time management. This class has taught me so much about managing my time and I am still learning to implement time management techniques such as doing work ahead of time. I have also felt the temptation to skip an assignment because it seemed too long or arduous, but I think it's essential to complete whatever you can in case you happen to accidentally miss an assignment in the future.
Hey Kristen!
ReplyDeleteGood job keeping up with the assignments. I have been feeling the same way about these assignments so I am glad to see that I am not the only one. I have learned a lot about my work ethic for this class because of the routine of assignments due on Monday and Friday every week. But I still am lazy because I can never focus on them, which causes me to take forever on the assignments. I liked your 3 tips because they are so important for the this class and can be applied to any class/assignment/project in any aspect.
