  1. Nice job setting up the context of the problem, but I think you spent a little too much time putting the listener into the ideal scenario of your “opportunity.” This is a time constraint problem that I think almost everyone can relate too so I would try opening with something very straight forward and to the point. I only mention this because your proposed solution started at around 48 seconds in, which I think is also the reason why you went over 90 seconds. I had a lot of trouble with this myself so I know it’s not easy. You did a wonderful job in front of the camera (I did horrible), and shaving down on the context portion at the beginning of your pitch will help out a lot.

  2. Hey Kristin,
I really liked your elevator pitch! It was really well-written, and I think it sold your product well. The beginning part where you asked the audience to picture themselves in a common situation where your product would help was really effective. If I could give some advice, it would be to smile more and fidget a bit less. I did theatre in high school, and I used to fidget a lot on stage, which my director corrected because it draws the audience's attention to your hands and other movements rather than to what you're saying. You already look really comfortable in front of the camera, and I think these little tweaks could make your pitch perfect!

  3. Hi Kristen! This elevator pitch was great! I liked how it was informative and well-written and caught my attention really quickly by having that interaction with the audience, making them more active within your pitch. This is a great tactic to use when trying to grab your audience's attention. One thing I would say is focus more on the audience and don't move as much. Besides that, everything else was great!
